HEEC supports all Garrett County Public Schools working to obtain or renew MD Green School status. Center staff work with teams as they develop their applications, support school-based programs that promote environmental education and sustainable practices, and pay the application fees for schools.
Emails are regularly sent to building principals to remind them that HEEC will provide support and to disseminate helpful information.
